Overview
A series of in-hand and ridden showing classes are run by the Thoroughbred And Retired Racehorse Association (TARRA), with prizes donated by RoR.
Horses must be registered at Weatherbys to qualify. They do not need to be registered with RoR, but it is advisable as this helps the charity have a record of thoroughbreds bred to race and raced who have now found second careers.
Classes are held throughout the country at local and county shows. The final for the In-Hand Championship is held at Newmarket Racecourse in August, and the final for the Ridden Championship is held at the Royal London Show.
