Success at the South East Championship Show

Saturday saw the fourth South East Championship Show take place at Pachesham Equestrian Centre, Leatherhead, Surrey. The show has slowly grown over the last four years and we were delighted with the fact that we had 46 ex-racehorses in attendance this year.

To be eligible for the championship classes’ riders simply need to be registered for the RoR Regional Leagues. There are also open dressage and show jumping classes along with showing classes which are open to all.
All competitors made a great account of themselves and we were particularly proud of the fact that the show remains an inviting, friendly event which gives many riders and their ex-racehorses a first taste of RoR activities.

We were, of course, delighted to welcome back some of our regular attendees who have been fantastic supporters of this event over the past few years, and who have been a great help in encouraging other riders to give an ex-racehorse only show a go.

We hope that the show will continue to be well supported and go from strength to strength over the years to come.
