News RoR Launches Membership Research Survey to Enhance Member Experience and Engagement

8th November 2023

Retraining of Racehorses (RoR), British Horseracing's official charity for the welfare of horses who have retired from racing, is excited to announce the launch of its first membership research survey, designed to gain valuable insights from our members to improve our services and better tailor our offerings to their needs.

As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing the RoR membership experience, we are conducting this survey to understand the unique needs, preferences, and expectations of our members.

All RoR members who have opted in to receive marketing emails from RoR will receive an email with a bespoke survey link. The survey is designed to be comprehensive, taking a maximum of 15 minutes to complete.

Vicky Vine, RoR’s Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications, said: “The survey will help us achieve several important objectives, including assessing member satisfaction, investigating factors that contribute to member retention, and exploring opportunities for increasing membership and RoR registrations. We will also measure member engagement levels, understand the impact RoR makes, evaluate the effectiveness of our communication channels, and work to build a stronger sense of community within our membership.

“Your participation in the survey is a crucial step in shaping the future of RoR. We invite all our members to join us in this effort and make a difference in our mission to safeguard the wellbeing of all former racehorses.”

To show our appreciation for members’ time and input, all participants who complete the survey will have the opportunity to enter a free prize draw. Two lucky winners will receive High Street shopping vouchers.
