RoR is proud to support the Western Equestrian Society (WES) National Championships—an exciting three-day, multi-discipline event open to all breeds, taking place every August.

Horses must be RoR competition registered. Riders must be 15 years and over at 1 January of current year.

RoR recognition awards

To celebrate the success of former racehorses competing in western riding, RoR will be recognising theHighest Placed RoR in the following four categories:

  • Novice horse
  • Novice rider
  • Open
  • Amateur

Each category winner will receive a RoR rosette and voucher. The highest scoring RoR across all categories will be awarded a special sash and rosette, along with recognition in the WES Journal.

To take part, riders will simply need to tick a box on the entry form confirming RoR eligibility. A note on RoR qualification criteria will also be included in the WES schedule.
