RoR are thrilled to be supporting the Eland Lodge Arena Eventing Leagues, Greenlands Arena Eventing together with the SEEL Championship in February, recognising the highest placed Competition Registered former racehorses in both.
Arena Eventing consists of one continuous course that starts with showjumping and is followed by a variety of working hunter and portable cross country jumps, along with fixed elements such as a ditch, water splash and steps. An optimum time is set for the Cross Country phase and the winner is the rider with a clear round who is closest to the optimum time. A test of partnership and skill, the course involves some related distances, challenging combinations and long flowing lines. Overall, the perfect preparation for both Showjumping, Cross Country and Eventing competitions.
Held through the winter months on our all-weather arena, our Arena Eventing competitions are fun and challenging.
- Class 1: Intro (up to 50cm)
- Class 2: 70cm
- Class 3: 80 cm
- Class 4: 90cm
- Class 5: 100cm
Eland Lodge's Arena Eventing competitions will run as a Points League, with points being awarded to placed riders and those with a clear round. Points are awarded as follows: 7 points to First place down to 2 points for 6th. 1 point is also awarded to each unplaced clear round. At the last show of the season we will award a Points Series Champion for each height.
