Arena Eventing consists of one continuous course that starts with showjumps and is followed by a variety of working hunter and portable cross country jumps, along with fixed elements such as a ditch, water splash and steps. An optimum time is set for the Cross Country phase and the winner is the rider with a clear round who is closest to the optimum time. A test of partnership and skill, the course involves some related distances, challenging combinations and long flowing lines. Overall, the perfect preparation for both Showjumping, Cross Country and Eventing competitions.
