Series Elite Dressage Performance Award

The RoR Elite Dressage Performance Award, in conjunction with British Dressage, recognises former GB raced horses competing at the higher levels in Affiliated dressage.

Overview

Eligibility: To be eligible your horse must be GB raced, fully registered with British Dressage and have current Competition Membership registration with RoR. Rider eligibility – must have full BD Membership and must be 15yrs and over at 1st January of current year.

To encourage competition, all previous winners (1st placed horses) will no longer be eligible to win 1st place in the same competition in subsequent years.

In 2019 RoR will offer a prize of £1000 to the winner of the ELITE Performance Award for Dressage in association with British Dressage (BD).

The Elite Performance Award for Dressage Championship Final will take place at the RoR Goffs UK National Championships 2019 on Saturday 24th August.

  • The class will be for qualified horse/rider combinations.
  • The Championship Final will be judged as a Freestyle Test at Advanced Medium level or above.

Qualification criteria: To qualify, horse/rider combinations must have achieved a top six placing in the RoR Dressage Horse SPECIAL at the RoR Goffs UK National Championships at Aintree on Friday 23rd August 2019

Entries for the Championships open on 01.07.19 and close on 01.08.19 via Horse Monkey

The prize will be presented at a RoR Awards Ceremony – date tbc.

Previous winners of RoR Elite Performance Awards are eligible to compete in this competition but won’t be eligible for the title of RoR Elite Performance Award winner. In the event of a previous winner taking 1st place the title passes to the next eligible combination.

There will be a RoR branded consolation prize should the above situation occur.
