Series Hunter Trials

RoR support the Elandlodge.com National Hunter Trial Championships and will be recognising the highest placed former racehorses in the 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 100cm classes

Eligibility

In order to be eligible to take part, horses must have current RoR Competition membership. Riders must be 15yrs and over on 1 January of current year.

About the series

The Elandlodge.com Hunter Trial Championships is an exciting series of hunter trial competitions held at venues up and down the country, and culminates in the annual National Hunter Trial Championship Finals.

A real test of partnership and skill, competitors take on Cross Country style courses which can include XC jumps, hunting fences, rustic jumps or other obstacles which may be encountered whilst riding. Great for riders of all abilities, this grassroots competition features classes from inviting 50cm through to technical 1m tracks, and also includes a pairs class.

Qualification Criteria

Qualifiers are held at venues around the country and the series culminates in the Elandlodge.com Hunter Trial National Championship Final. Due to the impact of Coronavirus in 2020, the 2020 Championship Finals are being consolidated into the 2021 finals, to be held at the centrally located Eland Lodge on Saturday 25 & Sunday 26 September 2021.

To qualify you need to be placed first to third with a clear round at any of the qualifying events

Prizes

Individual classes: RoR branded prize to the winner of each height class. RoR branded prizes will also be presented to the highest placed pair of RoR horses in the 80cm Pairs class.
