RoR Wales brings you another 'Insight Day'

A chance for a behind the scenes look into the life of a racehorse, it's routine, training, feeding and much more at Tom Ellis Racing,Warwickshire. Tom has recentley taken out his licence to train under rules, prior to this he was the most successful British Point-to-Point trainer over the last five seasons, saddling almost 300 winners. To add to this, he also held the record for most Point-to-Point winners trained in a single season: 71 winners from 159 runners, boasting an impressive 45% strike rate.

10am start – finish 2:30/3pm

PM -talk on the retraining process from Amy Bannister-Bell BHSI and RoR Wales Regional Development Officer at Eathorpe Village Hall, Eathorpe, Leamington Spa CV33 9DE.

We will discuss what the retraining process involves, advice on how to maintain good practices for a successful retraining journey and what support is out there to assist you if you choose to take on an ex racehorse or if you already own a retrained racehorse. This will take place at a local function room.

4 BHS CPD points will be gained for BHS members who attends.
