Laura Hamilton is a veterinary and chartered physiotherapist based outside Edinburgh.
Laura provides physiotherapy for horses across the Lothians, Borders and Fife, and treats people at her home.
Treatment is tailored to the individual – whether they are a pleasure or competition horse, recovering from injury or as part of a regular maintenance programme.
Working closely with vets, dentists, farriers, trimmers, saddle fitters and trainers Laura believes in taking a holistic approach to treatment and recovery to restore your horse to better health.
Laura works with all kinds of horses, but is very familiar with the physical, and emotional characteristics of the thoroughbred horse. She evented her first ex-racer through the levels to Novice and is currently retraining her second one directly from national hunt racing.

Since qualifying as a veterinary physiotherapist in 2015 and then in 2023 gaining a qualification in Equine functional osteopathy, Laura applies her extensive knowledge and training to maximise your horses comfort and performance.
