Training RoR South West - 3 Day Training Camp

RoR South West 3 day training covering intro to showing, flatwork, grids, XC, hacking and side-saddle, over the first 2 days. Day 3 is Show Day with 4 un-affiliated showing classes including judges feedback. The day ends with clear round SJ.

Members are welcome to attend 1,2 or all 3 days. B&B for horses and riders can be sourced locally. Please contact the event organiser Roly Rickcord for details.

Day 1 - Friday 14th April 2023
Flatwork and grid work lesson

Day 2 - Saturday 15th April 2023
XC or hacking in a group - in an enclosed area
LUNCH
Side Saddle/Intro to showing lesson

Day 3 - Sunday 16th April 2023
Practice Show day (with rosettes!)
Class 1: 10am - In hand showing
Class 2: 11am - Ridden showing
Class 3: 12 noon - Ridden showing with ride judge
LUNCH
Class 4: 2pm - Working hunter at bespoke heights (from 60cm)
Clear round showjumping (60cm upwards)
Constructive feedback at the end of each class from judge(s)
