Training RoR North - Camp For All @ Arkham Bryan

Welcome to the new Askham Bryan Camp!!

Arrival time will be after 3pm on Friday 21st July 2023.

Lessons will start at 9am on Saturday 22nd July and will run through until 4pm on Sunday 23rd July! You will get two on the Saturday and two on the Sunday!

Lessons available are Flat work / Poles / Show Jumping / Grids / and potentially XC!

This camp is open to all abilities - whether you have just got your RoR, are moving up the levels or are already established as a partnership - this camp is for you!

Please give a brief outline of your current level of training and what you would like to acheive at camp so it takes away the guess work for sorting out groups!

Included in the price are:

Stabling for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) inclusive of bedding - but more maybe purchased onsite at £7 a bag (their bedding is to be used only - please do not bring any with you)

Breakfast (cereal and toast) and lunch (sandwich's and cake) for participants including tea/coffee/juice

All lessons and Saturday night Lecture/Demo.

Not included:-

Friday night supper. As eveyone will be arriving at different times, please do bring with you your own food and beverages for the night!

Meal out on Saturday night....we will be heading out to the pub, but please note this cost is not included in the price. If you would prefer to eat on site, please make your own arrangements - no bbq's please.

Plate, cutlery, mug or travel mug for all humans.

Your horse's hard feed

Hay/Haylage for the duration

Clothes!! Body protector of you are going XC and a non peaked skull cap

Notes:

Please keep the yard clean and swept all thoughout the day. If you see any droppings please pick them up whether you are responsible for them or not!

There is no electric hook up on site.

There will be a fridge but I'm unsure of the size of it!

Please ride in appropriate attire - hats to current UK standards, breeches, jodhs, riding tights and boots. Body protectors are optional, but must be worn for XC.

There is no accommodation available on the college site. Horseboxes/trailers/tents or off site sleeping arrangements only (if you are wanting off site - please arrange this yourselves!)

There will be a lecture demo on the Saturday evening prior to going out for a meal, details of this will be released when finalised.
