Training RoR South West - Welfare Of Retired Racehorses event

Welfare of Retired Racehorses is presented to you by World Horse Welfare and Retraining of Racehorses (RoR).

• Learn all about the Retraining of Racehorses kindly hosted by World Horse Welfare at Glenda Spooner Farm.
• Eric Smiley British Eventing Master Coach demonstrates horse welfare through re-education of retired racehores. Includes flatwork and jumping, covering brakes, steering and communications.
• Jess Westwood of Molland Ridge Stud and Rehabilitation - expertly demonstrates the backing and re-schooling of thoroughbreds by riding her own, newly retired, racehorse.
• Laura Horsley of Haddon Training is a British Horse Racing Authority (BHA) approved work based training provider and will discuss Racing Apprenticeships in England and Wales.
• Cafe and gallery facilities to the indoor riding school are open to all.
• Admission also includes FREE entry to the Farm Walks.
