Training RoR South West - Christmas Social Ride with BVRC over Salisbury Plain

RoR SW have been kindly invited to join the Bourne Valley Riding Club's (BVRC) Christmas Social Ride over Salisbury Plain, to start and finish at Larkhill Racecourse. There will be two groups, one cantering about a bit more than the other walk & trot ride. Instead of stopping part-way round, a Burbages' mince pie will be available on return and you might like to bring your own flask for something hot to drink.
Anyone who has been on one of these rides will tell you it is not to be missed, with everyone, riders and horses, coming back to the lorries with smiles on their faces. The ride incurrs a small charge of £5 to cover mince pies at the finish!

Please be mounted and ready to ride by 10.15am for a 10.30am start. We should be back at the parking area by 1pm. This ride is always well-attended by BVRC members so please expect a group of approx. 20-30 horses in each ride. Weather wise, it’s always a good idea to plan for every climatic eventuality as it has been known to snow and blow but don’t let that put you off!
