Series RoR Tattersalls Scottish Show Series

This show series is judged under Riding Horse class rules on type, ride, manners and conformation. The horse will be ridden by the judge prior to conformation judging.

Overview

RoR eligibility: Horses must have raced in GB and have current RoR competition membership. Riders must be 15 years or over on the 1st January 2020. For horses 4 years older, mares and gelding, any height.

Racing injuries and blemishes will NOT be ignored in this series. Horses should be ridden in a snaffle, pelham or simple double bridle with a plain cavesson noseband. Horses should be plaited.

The first three go forward to the championship at the Royal Highland Show 2021. In the event that the first three are already qualified, the qualification will go down the line to fourth.

The Series Champion automatically qualifies for the RoR Ridden Show Series Supreme Championship at the RoR Goffs UK National Championships at Aintree, 27th to 30th August 2020

There will be a prize for the highest placed veteran 15 years or over. The class will be run under the rules of RoR. Horses to be ridden by the judge. All those entering horses and/or participating in the show agree to be bound by the Retraining of Racehorses Rules and Regulations from time to time in force’

Competitors must wear a safety/kite mark hard hat with a chinstrap.

Prizes : Rosettes 1stto 6th place, Vouchers 1stto 4th place.

1st £60 plus voucher for jacket, 2nd £40, 3rd £20, 4th £10.

Veteran prize, £25 voucher to be redeemed from RoR office and qualification for the RoR Ridden Veteran final at Aintree.
