Overview
Eligibility
The challenge is open to former racehorses who have raced in GB (Point-to-Point or Under Rules) horses must have current RoR competition membership and have hunted for a minimum of 1 season. Riders must be 15yrs and over on 1 January of the current year.
About the series
The Racing to Hunting Challenge, sponsored by Ri-Dry Clothing is judged on all-round behaviour and manners out hunting. The hunt venue for 2024 is to be confirmed and will be held in November.
To enter, download the nomination form below and provide a brief biography of your horse’s career, both racing and hunting, as well as photos and/or videos of the horse in the hunting field. You will also need to ask the Master to provide a short reference for your nominated horse. Entry is free and must be received by 1st October 2024.
*Previous winners of the Ri-Dry RoR Racing to Hunting Challenge are not eligible to compete in 2023 Challenge*

Judging
The judging panel will review the entries and determine a shortlist. The selected finalists will go forward to the final and enjoy a FREE days hunting in early December. Throughout the day the finalists will be judged on all-round behaviour and manners out hunting.
Prizes
Rosettes and prize money from first to sixth place,the winner will be awarded the Elite Racing to Hunting Trophy a Ri-Dry Clothing Jacket at the prestigious RoR Awards.
