Series RoR National Dressage Horse Championships

This championship event is for qualified combinations only, for all RoR horses: raced, foreign raced and those who have been in training and must hold current RoR competition membership.

National qualification criteria

This championship will be held at The Jockey Club RoR National Championships at Aintree Equestrian Centre on 20-25 August 2024.

To qualify for the RoR National Dressage Horse Championships, members must have qualified through the RoR Regional Dressage Horse Championships only.

Minimum qualifying percentage required for each level and gained at RoR Regional Dressage Horse Championships only:

  • INTRO – restricted 65%, open 67%
  • PRELIM – restricted 65%, open 67%
  • NOVICE – restricted 64%, open 66%
  • ELEMENTARY – restricted 62%, open 64%
  • MEDIUM – restricted 61%, open 63%

Useful information

The championship classes will run and be judged under BD rules, they will however, be affiliated to RoR only and no BD grading points will be awarded. All championships tests bar intro will be in long arena format.

Once a qualification at regional level is achieved the combination may compete in the section they qualified in, even in they subsequently upgrade.

The qualification is for horse/rider combinations only, no substitutes (horse or rider) allowed.

Members must have qualified through the RoR Regional Dressage Horse Championships only.
